Overview
Job Title - QA/QC Engineer
About the Role:
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all construction activities comply with approved quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance & Control:
Develop, implement, and monitor project quality plans, procedures, and checklists. Conduct inspections and tests on materials, workmanship, and construction activities. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements. - Site Inspections & Monitoring:
Perform routine site inspections and document findings. Identify non-conformities and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate with site teams to maintain quality standards across all disciplines. - Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and test records. Review material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests. Maintain records for audits and project handover. - Coordination & Compliance:
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal teams on quality-related matters. Support internal and external quality audits. Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and industry standards. - Handover & Close-Out:
Assist in final inspections and snag list closures. Ensure quality documentation is complete for project handover. Support project close-out and final acceptance processes.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–7 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection processes, and standards.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of construction quality standards and inspection techniques
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation systems
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work effectively on-site and with cross-functional teams
