Job DescriptionGroomy is a veterinary practice that combines a day care, boarding, physio, grooming and retail unit. Those activities are supported by a pet taxi service. We are looking for an experienced driver with confidence and enthusiasm for small animals to join this newly established practice in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will perform all taxi driving services for the day care and related activities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining the cleanliness of all areas related to the Pet Taxi and surroundings.
- Ensuring the Pet Taxi is in optimal condition and complies with UAE regulations.
- Transporting animals to their destinations and to the clinic when needed, ensuring safety.
- Delivering e-commerce purchases under guidance of the Admin Team.
- Using positive reinforcement and other techniques to elicit desired animal behavior.
- Providing updates to other parties about the progress and condition of the animals during and after transportation.
- Providing general care to animals, such as giving them water when needed.
- Providing support to the rest of the team in boarding and day care.
- Working closely with all colleagues to nurture a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
Groomy is a leading pet grooming facility focused on natural products and personalized care. Services include haircuts, deshedding, paw pad shaves, sanitary trims, eye and ear cleaning, and nail trimming. Groomy ensures a calm and stress‑free environment for pets.
Required Qualifications- At least two years of driving experience.
- UAE Driving License.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent communication and client interaction.
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
- Experience in the UAE veterinary market and collaboration with local veterinary organizations is preferred.
