JOB TITLE: Account Manager

LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, 2 days per week client side

CONTRACT TYPE: Full-time

REPORTING TO: Account Director

PURPOSE OF

THE ROLE

The Account Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day servicing of their accounts, supporting senior leadership, campaign delivery and internal coordination. The position plays a key role in maintaining quality client service, accurate documentation, and consistent media engagement across the agency’s active portfolio.

The successful candidate will bring prior healthcare experience in an agency environment, strong account management fundamentals and the ability to manage complex workflows with minimal supervision. Bilingual Arabic and English is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support Senior Account Managers and Account Directors with client servicing, campaign delivery, and reporting.
  • Act as a main point of contact for the client, responding to queries and escalating risks as required.
  • Draft press releases, messaging documents, written Q&A and other communications in line with client tone of voice, with minimal supervision.
  • Manage junior team members to ensure administrative accuracy, timely reporting, and smooth workflow delivery.
  • Drive day-to-day account activity, ensuring deadlines are met through proactive management of internal and external approvals.
  • Develop strategies, content ideas and activation concepts for events, campaigns, content calendars and internal communications.
  • Maintain key account documents including WIP reports, media trackers and monthly KPI trackers.
  • Support financial administration, including timesheets, job costing, and scope monitoring.
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships, securing interviews, op-eds, and coverage aligned with the agreed scope of work.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of account management experience in an agency environment, managing large or complex accounts in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong project and time management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence managing stakeholder relations.
  • Problem solving mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
