We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical support for Cargo Vehicle Inspection (CVI) equipment including M60, P60, and ZBV systems in Lebanon. This role involves on-site service, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of complex systems, ensuring operational quality and customer satisfaction.

• Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault finding on CVI systems and subsystems.
• Support Mercedes vehicle service needs including oil changes, lubricants, and filter replacements.
• Organize scheduled maintenance and repairs for M60 and P60 cargo systems.
• Act as the local point of contact for technical issues at Lebanon seaports.
• Provide oral and written responses to third-line technical support requests.
• Deliver defect liability and post-acceptance support for CVI equipment.
• Complete technical documentation including service reports and engineering change requests.
• Maintain issued equipment including vehicles, spares, consumables, tools, and test equipment in safe condition.
• Interact respectfully with customers and operators, considering cultural and language differences.

• Previous experience supporting complex technical products including engines, drives, PLCs, transmitters, receivers, electrical systems, IT components, and generators.
• Experience with Mercedes trucks is an advantage.
• Proactive 'can-do' attitude with the ability to complete tasks with limited resources.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Engineering qualification such as BTEC, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with IT networking solutions (e.g., CCNP or equivalent).
• Understanding of integrated systems including PLCs, high-voltage systems, and radar.
• Relevant practical experience will also be considered.
