We have a challenging opportunity opened for the role of Consultant in our Capital Projects & Construction practice.
The role is responsible for leading Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Compliance activities for capital projects and real estate portfolios, ensuring effective risk identification, mitigation, regulatory compliance, and governance across large infrastructure and real estate developments.
Role RequirementsSome of the key responsibilities of this role are:
- Lead and manage the Enterprise Risk Management framework for capital projects and real estate initiatives.
- Identify, assess, and monitor strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, and project risks across the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain risk registers, heat maps, and mitigation plans for major projects.
- Establish and monitor compliance with internal policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements related to real estate and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments, compliance reviews, and internal audits for ongoing and completed projects.
- Support project teams in embedding risk management practices in planning, execution, procurement, and contract management.
- Review project approvals, business cases, feasibility studies, and investment proposals from a risk and compliance perspective.
- Track key risk indicators (KRIs) and report risk exposure and compliance status to senior management and governance committees.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, internal audit, and external advisors on regulatory and compliance matters.
- Support development and enhancement of ERM policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Drive risk awareness and conduct training sessions for project and business teams.
- Experience of working in any of the Big 4 consulting firms in the region with focus on Capital Projects Advisory, including dispute resolution.
- Candidate with Minimum 5 years of industry related / relevant consulting experience with in-depth understanding in Project Risk Management / ERM/ Compliance / Governance / Internal Controls
- Education in Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with relevant discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Construction etc.) or CA, CIA or equivalent qualification
- Good knowledge of capital project lifecycle and real estate development processes.
- A good blend of creative thinking and rigorous analysis in solving business problems.
- High energy individual possessing excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Adept at preparing and presenting to senior audiences.
