The Head of Pricing & Markets operations is a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise in revenue optimization, a strong analytical mindset, and demonstrated ability to lead teams toward achieving financial and commercial goals. He/She will implement the delivery of revenue initiatives and market’s operations function, leveraging pricing, segments distribution mix and inventory management. Drive the execution of high-impact revenue strategies to maximize revenue driven from forecast.

They will have operational responsibilities for ensuring the demand, pricing and inventory functions for all defined Miral Assets portfolio are optimally planned, configured and managed to achieve the highest possible revenue results.

As a key point of contact for commercial teams in trade and marketing , the role will be working closely with Sr Director revenue management and is responsible for identification and effective co-operation and collaboration between revenue optimization and stakeholders such as Trade, Digital, Marketing, Loyalty, Finance, Ticketing and General managers operations teams. The role leads a diverse team of market operations pricing teams & inventory managers and is required to act as a coach and mentor to the team in both technical and behavioral skills and has performance , development and succession planning responsibilities for the team to consistently achieve KPIs such as per cap, visitation, Theme park profitability, and market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Leadership:
  • Develop pricing strategies that align with management goals, focusing on revenue , per cap and attendance
  • Provide insights to guide RM strategic prioritization
  • Be a trusted partner to marketing & Trade leadership , support planning, risk assessment and decisions
  • Lead collaboration between revenue management , Marketing, Finance and IT for data accountability
  • Recommend rates and objectives for yearly budgeting
  • Define targets by segment, channels and product/price initiatives
  • Identify gaps and recommend opportunities for each assets and engage resources into activity planning so that revenue targets are achieved
  • Lead strategies and tactics to drive profitable visitation:
  • Assist with analysis in the development of the strategic admissions pricing, providing insights, as well as identifying impacts on consumer promotions
  • Lead pricing development and recommend actions to sustain demand and fill gaps, using the specific behaviors of the various markets.
  • Develop KPIs for the commercial team to drive yield and volumes for the business
  • Work closely with the Performance management team to set targets and monitor results
  • Pricing & Distribution strategy
  • Serve as SME for RO configuration for dynamic pricing , distribution strategy by channel & segments & inventory controls, overbooking standards; during identified seasonality in peak, trough and shoulder demand periods
  • Review and update Revenue SOPs and QC protocols; ensure compliance and consistency across teams.
  • Creates internal revenue briefs for campaigns and strategic RM initiatives.
  • Oversee 12 month tactical revenue plans and mid-to-short-term. Integrate pricing, inventory, and multi-channel sales strategies into a unified revenue steering framework.
  • Ensure Pricing decisions should become more pro-active and much of the market knowledge and information is in the hands of the Forecast manager
  • Implement RO policies and frameworks to meet revenue/visitation targets.
  • Performance Management & Analytics
  • Lead Theme parks Miral Assets performance reviews; identify and act on under-performing source market or market segments.
  • Produce KPI in pricing, conduct gap analysis, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Run advanced what-if analytics and scenario modelling to support strategic pricing decision-making
  • Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Manage and develop a team of RO managers, delivering coaching, training, and performance reviews. Liaise with Trade, Marketing , Strategic Planning, Systems, and Finance to align revenue tactics with broader business objectives
