Legal Consultant – Abu Dhabi
We are seeking an experienced Legal Consultant for our Abu Dhabi office. Candidates with experience in the IT industry will be highly preferred.
Qualifications & Experience- 8–10 years of experience as a Legal Consultant in the IT field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of EU GDPR, PDPL, UAE Labour Law, Company Law, Civil Transaction Law, IT tendering processes, and related regulations.
- Review and draft software agreements, IT partnership agreements, reseller agreements, teaming agreements, NDAs, legal notices, settlement agreements, SLAs, and all IT & AI‑related legal matters.
- Review RFPs from a legal perspective and ensure alignment with relevant agreements.
- Negotiate with third‑party cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hardware vendors.
- Manage software licensing (Proprietary vs. Open Source), patent filings for new algorithms, and protect trade secrets.
- Draft labor agreements, purchase agreements, and internal meeting records.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (reading and writing).
- Proficiency in PDF, Excel, Word, and basic IT tools.
- Team‑oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
