A well‑established regional law firm with a strong presence in the UAE is seeking to appoint a Corporate Senior Associate (5–10 PQE) as a key hire for its growing Abu Dhabi office. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to join a firm with significant regional credibility and strong long‑term ambitions.
The RoleThe firm is looking for a Senior Associate with a broad corporate background, ideally covering:
- General corporate/commercial
- Funds work
- Distribution, JV, supply agreements
- ADGM company formation
The role is Abu Dhabi‑based and requires someone who is confident with networking, client engagement and business development. This is not a back‑office role; the successful candidate will play a visible part in developing client relationships and supporting the firm’s growth in the capital.
Candidate Profile- 5–10 years’ PQE with tangible law firm experience
- Strong corporate experience in Abu Dhabi, the UAE or wider GCC
- Background with a leading regional or international law firm
- In‑house returners will also be considered
- Arabic is advantageous, but not required due to existing coverage within the team
- A positive and flexible working culture
- A meritocratic environment with genuine recognition
- A stable, UAE‑foundated platform with strong client connections (government entities, major corporates, family groups)
- Significant internal support from a well‑connected partners, generating regular referral work
- Market remuneration, tax free
- There is clear progression potential
