Interpreter And Translator

Responsibilities

• On-site Translation:
  Provide Chinese-English interpreting services on the project site, ensuring smooth communication. The main focus includes technical, management, and engineering terminology related to construction, chemical, and other industries.
• Document Translation:
  Translate written materials between Chinese and English, including project contracts, engineering drawings, technical plans, meeting minutes, reports, etc.
• Technical Support:
  Provide accurate language support during technical meetings, project coordination meetings, and project acceptance procedures to ensure consistent understanding of project details.
• Cross-cultural Communication:
  Act as a bridge for effective communication between Chinese and foreign personnel, ensuring accurate information transfer to facilitate smooth project progress.
• Project Management Coordination:
  Assist project managers in communication and coordination between foreign experts, suppliers, and clients, ensuring the project proceeds as planned and addressing any language-related issues.
• Site/Field Translation:
  Participate in regular or ad-hoc site inspections based on project needs, ensuring that on-site operations meet project requirements and translating during related meetings or technical discussions.
• Quality Control:
  Ensure translation accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to industry standards, maintaining the highest translation quality that meets project requirements.
• Document Management:
  Organize and archive translated documents for easy future reference.
• Multitasking:
  Efficiently handle multiple translation tasks in a fast-paced project environment and manage any urgent translation needs to ensure project progress is not hindered by language barriers.
• Industry Knowledge:
  Continuously learn and update knowledge of relevant industry terminology and translation techniques to improve the quality of translation services.

• Fluent in both languages: Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English, able to translate seamlessly between the two.
