We are partnering with a leading organisation in the UAE seeking a Business Partner – IT & Operations to lead the strategy, performance, and transformation of its technology and operational services function.
This is a senior leadership role accountable for both 24/7 operational excellence and a major enterprise transformation programme (ERP migration).
This role sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and business leadership
.
- Set and execute the multi-year IT & Operations strategy
- Oversee enterprise infrastructure (cloud/hybrid, networks, end-user platforms)
- Manage third-party vendors and managed service partners
- Drive operational KPIs, service levels, automation and continuous improvement
- Act as the IT lead on a large-scale ERP transformation
- Balance legacy stability with digital innovation
- Build and develop a future-ready IT & Operations team
This role requires both steady-state operational leadership and strong change management capability
.
- 10+ years progressive IT leadership experience
- 5+ years leading a full IT or IT & Operations function
- Proven experience as business lead on a major ERP or core system implementation
- Strong infrastructure background (cloud, data centres, outsourcing, scalability)
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and commercial contracts
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong governance, risk and compliance exposure
Certifications such as ITIL, PMP or Agile are advantageous.
Experience with in education or complex, multi-site environments is highly desirable.
