Overview

Head of Software Engineering - Abu Dhabi We are seeking an experienced Head of Software Engineering to lead engineering for a fast-growing, innovative technology company building agentic AI–driven SaaS platforms
. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for scaling teams, shaping engineering culture, and driving the delivery of robust, secure, and scalable products.

You will work closely with product, AI, and leadership teams to turn ambitious ideas into production-ready platforms used by enterprise clients.

• Define and execute the engineering strategy in line with product and business goals.
• Lead, scale, and mentor high-performing software engineering teams.
• Oversee the design and development of SaaS platforms, APIs, and AI-enabled services.
• Partner closely with product and AI teams to deliver high-impact features.
• Establish engineering best practices across architecture, quality, security, and delivery.
• Drive platform scalability, reliability, and performance as the business grows.
• Contribute to long-term technical vision and technology roadmap.

• Proven experience as a Head of Engineering, Engineering Director, or similar leadership role.
• Strong background building and scaling SaaS platforms in production environments.
• Experience in fintech, enterprise software, AI-driven products, or high-growth tech companies.
• Deep understanding of modern software architecture, cloud platforms, and Dev Ops practices.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical insight.
• Strong people leadership and communication skills.
