As part of the Qualcomm IE‑IoT Business Unit’s Product & Solutions team, this role focuses on defining strategy, requirements, and go‑to‑market plans for integrated IoT solutions built on unified software platforms. The position blends platform product leadership with solution lifecycle management—spanning edge, connectivity, compute, cloud workflows, and device management. You will have a proven track record in shaping complex, multi‑component IoT solutions from concept to deployment.
This includes translating customer pain points, vertical‑specific needs, and ecosystem trends into scalable, differentiated solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. The role is central across the full lifecycle: solution strategy, cross‑functional execution, partner integration, regulatory readiness, and global deployment enablement.
- Solution Strategy & Portfolio Leadership: Defines, maintains, and executes a multi‑year solution portfolio strategy aligned with market opportunities, customer problems, and ecosystem trends; identifies solution gaps; builds business cases focusing on customer ROI, TCO impact, and solution scalability; drives differentiation through architecture, feature integration, performance, security, interoperability, and operational efficiency.
- Requirements Definition & Cross‑Functional Delivery: Owns solution‑level MRDs/PRDs, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria across edge compute, device management, cloud integration, workflows, and operational tooling; works closely with engineering, solution architects, and marketing; defines and tracks KPIs; identifies cross‑functional risks and leads mitigation strategies across the solution lifecycle.
- Customer Engagement & Vertical Solution Definition: Leads customer interactions (discovery workshops, use‑case definition, architecture reviews, pilot scoping); translates deep customer insights into solution requirements and roadmap priorities; builds strong relationships with stakeholders; delivers technical presentations, roadmap briefings, and solution demonstrations to customers and partners.
- Deployment Strategy & Solution Readiness: Defines end‑to‑end deployment strategies covering onboarding, provisioning, observability, integration workflows, and scaling; creates solution reference architectures, deployment blueprints, validation frameworks, runbooks; supports pilots, scale‑outs, upgrades, and operational handoff; ensures solutions are robust for real‑world scenarios (offline operations, security hardening, multi‑tenant deployments).
- Partner, ISV, and System Integrator Enablement: Develops solution‑aligned partner strategies; creates partner enablement content (APIs/SDKs, solution kits, certification processes, integration guides); aligns co‑selling, co‑marketing, and joint GTM motions; ensures solution‑level integration quality and partner compliance.
- Regulatory & Compliance Readiness: Coordinates solution compliance across security, privacy, connectivity, data governance, and regional regulations; embeds compliance into solution design; ensures documentation, audit artifacts, and certifications meet global standards; monitors regulatory changes and adapts roadmaps.
- Regional Alignment & Localized Solutions Support: Works with regional teams to capture localized requirements, deployment constraints, certification needs; provides visibility into roadmap decisions and alignment to regional opportunities; supports field teams with customer engagements, technical enablement, and deployment readiness.
- Solution Deployment Support: Assists local teams during pilots and production deployments; provides guidance for troubleshooting, performance tuning, and use‑case validation; ensures smooth transition to long‑term operations and support structures.
