Data Governance Specialist
A large multinational organization undergoing significant digital and data transformation. The company is seeking a Data Governance Specialist with Business Analyst capabilities ensures that data is well‑managed, secure, and aligned with business goals. They should be able to support in developing governance frameworks, enforce data standards, and compliance, while also analyzing business needs to translate them into effective data solutions. Essential capabilities include: good technical skills, understanding of business operations, and communication abilities.
Experience in data tools such as Informatica Axon, EDC as well as Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), a as well as BI Tools such is Qlik, Power
BI is preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity in conducting data maturity assessments and implementing data governance improvements.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills to drive data governance initiatives.
- Familiarity with self‑service analytics platforms and data democratization initiatives.
- Certification in Data Governance (DAMA CDMP, DCAM, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with building and maintaining data catalogs and publishing data to a data marketplace.
- High level knowledge of Informatica Axon (metadata management & governance) and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) (profiling, cleansing, validation).
- Experience in change management and training related to data governance.
