We are looking for an experienced Solutions Engineer to join our growing Middle East constellation, based in Abu Dhabi. You will become part of our local UAE team that works on different projects for our customers, all centred around our Sita Ware product suite.

Tactical decision-making is crucial for being able to execute strategy, yet it can be achieved through an integrated, ultra-modern command-and-control toolset. The Sita Ware solution is all-encompassing – radio, mobile, vehicle, web and application-based – with reporting across the spectrum of devices back to command HQ in real-time.

Our Defence Services team in the UAE works closely with military customers and front-line users of Systematic's world-leading software products across the Middle East region. We are a growing, multi-disciplinary team of technical experts, solution engineers, developers, solution architects, domain advisors, testers, and project managers whose expertise is highly valued by our customers in the UAE and Middle East region.

As a member of this team, you will support the delivery of our broad portfolio of projects, collaborate with colleagues in Defence Services teams around the world, and support business developers with new sales opportunities to help drive our continued growth.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will take a leading role and be a key player in delivering our Sita Ware and Iris suites for our regional customers, working primarily client-side at the customer’s premises. You will be working closely with colleagues and customers, rolling out a mission-critical system that creates value by simplifying decision-making within areas such as solution design, configuration, installation, technical support, technical training, interoperability, development, and testing.

Your key tasks will include:

• Providing technical support and advice both on-site and back office
• Taking on a leading role while designing, implementing and supporting technical solutions
• Understanding user-level concept of operations through to technical application and interface requirements
• Ensuring that your projects are delivered within the agreed scope and time-frame
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes
• Staying up to date on the status of Systematic products and support to ensure alignment of customer expectations and product roadmaps, maximising value for both our customers and our products
• Experience with data engineering, workflows, visualisation and AI techniques
• Providing first and second-level customer support, fault finding and root cause analysis
• Conducting technical training for our customers – both in classroom environments and in workshop-like set-ups
• Supporting the training of administrators and end-users
• Training and mentoring of colleagues

• Have strong communication and collaboration skills
• Enjoy working in an agile and changing environment (Scrum experience is a plus)
• Are eager to make a difference and step outside your comfort zone
• Furthermore, you probably have experience within some or all of the following: tactical communications systems, software development, IT infrastructure, software and system testing and/or test management (e.g. ISTQB), technical training, external customer-facing projects, and delivering services and consultancy in the IT sector.

• 5+ years of experience from a similar position
• Bachelor's or Master’s level degree
• Fluent in English

Willingness to travel to our Headquarters in Denmark and within the Middle East region
