Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Data Architects, driving excellence in data design and engineering practices
- Define and evolve the AI data architecture roadmap in line with enterprise and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms to support AI and analytics use cases
- Establish and enforce data governance, quality, and lineage standards across all AI data assets
- Collaborate with AI Engineering, MLOps, and Data Science teams to ensure seamless data flow and model readiness
- Evaluate and implement emerging data technologies to enhance scalability, automation, and performance
- Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on data architecture strategy and innovation
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering roles within complex technology environments
- Expertise in distributed data systems and tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Delta Lake, Snowflake, Big Query)
- Strong background in data modeling, metadata management, and governance in regulated domains
- Familiarity with ML data workflows and integration with cloud-based AI platforms
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and infrastructure-as-code tools for data platform deployment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Educational qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Masters’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required
