SAR-Data Processing Technician

We are seeking a SAR Data Processing Technician to join the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) and contribute to the activities of our Electromagnetic Sensing Division

Responsible for processing, organizing, and managing drone-borne SAR datasets, transforming raw radar data into high-quality imagery and geospatial products using Linux-based pipelines and GIS tools, while supporting field operations and collaborating with the SAR team to ensure reliable end-to-end data workflows.

• Process raw data SAR into high-quality imagery using Linux-based software and command-line processing pipelines.
• Analyze and visualize SAR products using GIS tools, including QGIS.

• Organize, maintain, and back up field-acquired and post-processed datasets, ensuring data integrity and traceability.
• Manage and optimize computational resources required for SAR data processing and analysis.

• Support and participate in field operations and data acquisition campaigns when required.
• Work closely with the team to ensure end-to-end system performance, from data acquisition to final results
• Follow up on SW developments performed by external partners.
• Participate in team meetings, technical discussions, and code reviews.

• Education: Bachelor’s, Technical Diploma, or associate degree in IT, Computer Science (Applied), or Information Systems, or any other related area.
• Experience
  :
  Management of Linux systems, networks, backups, and storage, with experience supporting laboratory or R&D infrastructures; familiarity with MATLAB is a plus.
• Language Proficiency

  Good level of English (speaking and writing).
