The Expert Database Administrator will manage mission-critical database environments across Mongo

DB, Oracle, and MySQL, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. This role is essential for supporting enterprise applications, driving automation, and leading cloud migration initiatives to Oracle OCI/DRCC.

In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of core databases—installation, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. You will implement automation to streamline day‑to‑day operational tasks using scripting and configuration tools. A key part of the role involves leading cloud migrations from on‑premise to Oracle OCI/DRCC and administering cloud‑based EXACS, DBCS, and ADB environments. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and cloud teams to maintain high availability, strengthen database governance, and ensure operational efficiency across all platforms.

• Administer Mongo
  
  DB, Oracle, and MySQL databases with a focus on performance tuning and stability.
• Execute database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching for all supported platforms.
• Automate routine DBA activities using Shell scripting, Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives from on‑prem to Oracle OCI/DRCC.
• Manage and maintain EXACS, DBCS, and Autonomous Database (ADB) environments.
• Troubleshoot database issues, ensure uptime, and support high‑availability architectures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for capacity planning, optimization, and best practices.
• Maintain documentation, operational standards, and compliance for all database environments.

• 9+ years of hands‑on experience as a Database Administrator.
• Strong expertise in Mongo
  
  DB, Oracle, and MySQL administration.
• Proven experience with database performance optimization and complex troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with DB automation (Shell, Python, Ansible).
• Experience implementing and managing Oracle OCI/DRCC cloud environments.
• Skilled in EXACS, DBCS, and Oracle Autonomous Databases.
• Strong understanding of backup and recovery strategies, patch management, and database security.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.

• Experience with database monitoring tools and enterprise observability systems.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices related to DB deployment and CI/CD.
• Exposure to cloud‑native DB environments or hybrid architectures.
• Knowledge of compliance, DR planning, and high‑availability frameworks.
