AI Innovation Specialist - Cyber Security; On-Site

Job description

We’re working with a technology organisation in the cybersecurity space that’s scaling its use of applied AI across customer‑facing platforms. This role focuses on turning complex security challenges into practical, production‑ready intelligence embedded directly into live systems.

This is not a pure ML role. You’ll assess and apply the most appropriate techniques for each problem, spanning data‑driven logic, automation, hybrid AI systems, and modern language models, with a strong emphasis on reliability, explainability, and real‑world impact.

• Identify and deliver high‑value AI use cases across security platforms (detection, investigation, risk, automation).
• Design and prototype applied intelligence solutions and support their transition into production.
• Influence safe, explainable, and responsible AI use within security‑critical products.
• Communicate AI capabilities and trade‑offs clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Experience applying AI‑driven systems in complex, data‑rich environments.
• Strong software and data foundations (Python expected).
• Understanding of cybersecurity or security‑adjacent domains.
• Experience in product‑led, R&D, or innovation‑focused environments.

Delivering trusted, explainable AI capabilities that materially improve cybersecurity products and decision‑making.
