Reporting to one of the Analytics Managers and working under the guidance of the Business Engagement Partners, the Senior Analytics Specialist will leverage advanced analytical skills and a wider analytical toolkit to analyze and visualize Etihad’s enterprise data resources. The role involves answering the highest‑value analytical questions posed by departments across Etihad Airways, enhancing decision‑making through data insights and maintaining strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across a multi‑disciplined environment.

The incumbent will continually develop analytical techniques and stay up‑to‑date with industry‑leading BI capabilities.

• Work with the Analytics Manager and/or Business Engagement Partner to analyze requirements and identify or design solutions to business problems.
• Execute complex, ad‑hoc analyses using Etihad’s analytical toolkit, proactively searching for deeper insights and root causes.
• Summarize and visualize results, highlighting key insights for the business translator to develop.
• Maintain a documentation repository of solutions, including methodology.
• Identify opportunities for automation and improvement in each analysis, recommending priorities for further development to the wider team.
• Develop and maintain proficiency with advanced analytic and database tools, in‑house data sets, and other resources.
• Encourage development of specializations in Etihad’s key analytical disciplines, acting as an expert and coach to the wider analytics team.
• Assist in the development and training of Analytics Analysts Level 1 personnel to deepen their understanding of the toolkit, Etihad’s data resources, and analytic/problem‑solving techniques.

• Diploma required (minimum 2 years), with additional qualifications in analytical disciplines an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience if holding a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of work experience in a relevant field if holding only High School Certification or a Diploma.
