The Hospitality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of VIP hospitality areas during events, including catering services
, guest experience, and service delivery. This role oversees hospitality staff, manages vendor coordination, and upholds the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and safety. Through effective leadership and operational excellence, the Hospitality Supervisor plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the organization’s reputation for hospitality excellence.
- Supervise day-to-day operations across VIP hospitality areas, ensuring compliance with service standards, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of hospitality logistics and guest services during event days.
- Monitor operations in real time and proactively resolve issues to maintain service quality.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to VIP guests, promptly addressing inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
- Lead by example in providing personalized, attentive, and culturally appropriate service.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through continuous monitoring of service delivery and feedback.
- Supervise hospitality staff, including onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Brief teams before events on service standards, event schedules, and guest expectations.
- Motivate staff to maintain high morale, professionalism, and productivity in high-pressure environments.
- Oversee all catering operations within VIP hospitality areas, including food and beverage service standards.
- Coordinate with catering vendors on menus, service schedules, dietary requirements, and special VIP requests.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene standards, and local regulations (including KSA requirements).
- Monitor food quality, presentation, portion control, and service efficiency throughout the event.
- Manage catering-related issues promptly to minimize disruption to guest experience.
- Oversee the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of VIP hospitality areas, including layout, décor, signage, and cleanliness.
- Ensure venues are consistently maintained to premium standards before, during, and after events.
- Ensure compliance with venue regulations, company standards, and health & safety guidelines.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors for catering, décor, furniture, equipment, and hospitality services.
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery timelines, and service quality.
- Address and resolve any vendor-related issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Support event logistics such as guest arrivals, accreditation, transportation coordination, and seating where applicable.
- Collaborate with security, operations, transport, and protocol teams to ensure seamless guest flow and experience.
- Participate in event briefings, rehearsals, and post-event debriefs.
- Act as the main point of contact for VIP guests within hospitality areas.
- Manage guest feedback, complaints, and escalations professionally and discreetly.
- Build strong relationships with guests to encourage repeat attendance and brand loyalty.
- Monitor inventory levels for catering supplies, beverages, consumables, and hospitality equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to reduce waste and control costs.
- Coordinate reorders to ensure uninterrupted service during events.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar hospitality supervisory role within sporting, cultural, or large-scale events
. - Proven experience managing VIP hospitality and catering operations
. - Experience working with external vendors and catering suppliers.
