Mandarin Oriental, Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi is seeking a Club Lounge Executive to join our Club Lounge team. This role focuses on delivering exquisite customer service to guests in the Club Lounge, ensuring all expectations are met with the highest standards of luxury and professionalism.
Overview
The Club Lounge Executive is responsible for providing efficient front‑desk and club‑lounge services, managing guest inquiries, coordinating with cross‑departmental staff, and ensuring a seamless, memorable experience for all lounge guests. The position reports to the Club Lounge Manager and operates within the Rooms Division.
Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly and escort them to the lounge; provide courteous assistance throughout their stay.
- Execute efficient check‑in and check‑out procedures.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, ensuring follow‑up and completion.
- Coordinate guest service requirements with Concierge, Housekeeping, Telecommunication, Reservations, Room Service, and other departments.
- Assist guests with all areas of the hotel and deliver requested items and services in a timely manner.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and facsimiles.
- Use guest history profiles to address preferences and special requirements.
- Protect guest privacy and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel services, facilities, operating hours, menus, dress codes, room types, and amenities.
- Monitor daily arrivals and departures, local events, attractions, and holiday schedules.
- Promote and upsell hotel services, facilities, and outlets when appropriate.
- Demonstrate teamwork by cooperating with colleagues and departments to deliver exceptional service.
- Support the Concierge team in delivering personalized service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment and supplies.
- Manage the cash drawer per MOHG Controller’s Manual and verify cash float amounts at shift start and end.
- Communicate with the Accounts Department and maintain accounting knowledge to support guest and management requests.
- Analyze and resolve guest issues with calm, courteous professionalism.
- Maintain a confident, professional image reflecting the hotel’s service standards.
- Perform additional reasonable duties assigned by the Club Lounge Manager.
- Prior experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel; resort experience is a plus.
- Certification or diploma in Hospitality Management preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills focused on personalized guest service.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage.
