Director of Clinical Education & Training

Overview

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Clinical Education & Training to be based in Abu Dhabi, supporting a specialist Mental Health service.

The Director will hold responsibility for the strategic leadership, governance and operational oversight of all workforce development, education and learning initiatives. The role will focus on establishing high-quality, accreditation-ready education frameworks and a Centre of Excellence to support clinical competency and workforce capability.

• Oversight of education, training and workforce development strategy
• Establishing and leading a Centre of Excellence for learning and development
• Designing accreditation-ready and innovative education frameworks
• Ensuring governance and quality across clinical competency and workforce capability
• Developing strategic partnerships with universities and professional bodies
• Supporting international accreditation standards (e.g. JCIA/JCI)

• 10-12+ years  experience in clinical education, healthcare training, workforce development, or organisational learning
• Minimum 5 years  experience in a Director or senior leadership role
• Experience overseeing education and training across large or multi-site healthcare organisations
• Demonstrated experience or strong understanding of international accreditation processes (e.g. JCIA/JCI)
• Proven academic and professional collaboration experience
• Master s degree in Healthcare, Clinical Education, or a related field (required)
• Experience with in Mental Health, Addiction/Substance Misuse or high-risk clinical settings is desirable
