Occupational Therapist

Micah Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with a diverse group of clients, providing personalized and evidence-based therapy services to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals
• Implement therapy interventions and techniques to improve clients' functional abilities and independence
• Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and caregivers to ensure holistic care for clients
• Educate clients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to promote independence and safety
• Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in occupational therapy
• Maintain accurate and organized client records and reports
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and services
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the occupational therapy governing body and the company

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid license (DOH) to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
• Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus
