We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality physical therapy assessments and treatments to patients suffering from various medical conditions. The ideal applicant should have a strong academic background in physical therapy, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The Physiotherapist's primary responsibilities include assessing patients' conditions through physical examinations and tests, devising individualized treatment plans, and administering treatments to restore mobility, reduce pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disability. They should be able to evaluate the patient's abilities, recommend exercises or activities that may be of benefit, evaluate the patient's progress, promote wellness, and provide education to the patient about physical therapy techniques and safety measures.
This position requires excellent attention to detail when documenting assessments and treatments.
The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field. At least two years of experience working as a physiotherapist with various patient populations is preferred. They must also have a valid license from the relevant regulatory authority in Abu-Dhabi. In addition to this, they should have advanced knowledge of anatomy & physiology with an understanding of medical terminology;
excellent problem solving skills; and knowledge of ethical regulations pertaining to healthcare practices in Abu-Dhabi. Fluency in English is essential for this role as well as knowledge of Arabic (preferred but not essential).
