An Accountant is a vital part of any organization's financial framework, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth management of financial transactions. Accountants are tasked with interpreting financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Their expertise aids in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, contributing to strategic decision‑making processes. An Accountant must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

This role is crucial for organizations to maintain financial health, optimize expenditures, and support business growth.

• Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders regularly.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, and payroll.
• Coordinate and assist with external and internal audits as required.
• Implement and monitor financial controls to safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with department heads for budget preparation and financial planning.
• Provide financial analysis and support for business development initiatives.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new financial systems and processes.
• Maintain and manage the general ledger and financial documentation.
• Advise management on cost‑reduction strategies, revenue enhancement, and profit improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Professional certification (CPA or CMA) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
