We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Onshore Private Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
In this role, you will:- Oversee managing and developing a client’s portfolio, providing full-service banking and all transactions to high-net-worth individual clients through the marketing of all appropriate company services
- Establish new relationships and manage existing client relationships.
- Grow revenue, increase AUM of portfolio and increase inflows of net new money (NNM), achieving growth by leveraging brand, channels and RM network.
- Ensures client’s objectives are met through an appropriate selection of products within the client portfolio and ensuring clients are aware of their level of risk
- Research account and transaction records to resolve basic discrepancies, answer questions, or provide documentation on client activities
- Works closely with other Bank Departments to maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
- Ensures follow-up on all risk and compliance issues (such as CCR, KYC, Compliance requests, Risk Management requests, Internal Audit requests)
- Proven experience in Relationship Management with UHNW Clients within Private Banking segment
- Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation
- Excellent understanding of financial markets and products.
- SCA accreditation is mandatory for the role.
- Sound knowledge of the impact of macroeconomics/microeconomics/local market developments.
- Local regulatory & license requirements - job holder should possess valid licenses with accreditation on wealth management and qualification as required by country.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred
- Highly developed communication skills for use in direct client contact and problem solving
- Ability to provide strong financial and statistical analysis.
- Strong customer service focus
- Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problem
- A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE).
