Finance Process Manager

Synopsis

The Finance Process Manager will lead the process management and optimization of Etihad's Finance and Procurement team, to turn it into a competitive advantage for the company by implementing automation and AI tools to drive incremental cost savings and optimize the company financial performance.

• Lead change management for process redesigns across the Finance areas
• Run enablement sessions for impacted teams
• Track adoption via KPIs and remove blockers quickly
• Establish process governance, standard operating procedures, and controls framework
• Define users and access mapping and control owners, set review cadences
• Publish SOPs in a single-source repository with version control & audit trails
• Conduct root cause analysis on process failures and implement corrective actions
• Continuously monitor Finance and Procurement processes to optimize and improve them
• Build dashboards for lead time, rework %, and exception rates
• Trigger alerts on SLA breaches
• Run regular reviews with CFO and Executives within Finance Division to prioritize improvements
• Identify and implement automation opportunities (RPA, workflow tools, AI, etc.)
• Prioritize use cases with benefit/effort scoring; pilot, then scale to production
• Leverage process mining and optimization tools
• Set automated conformance checks and deviation alerts to drive actions
• Partner with audit and compliance teams on process controls
• Align control design to internal policy/IFRS/SOX; maintain risk & control register
• Perform periodic walkthroughs/tests; remediate findings and document evidence
• Ability/experience in managing and building a team

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or finance
• 7+ years of relevant experience designing, optimizing, and automating processes within Finance and/or Procurement functions
• Knowledge of standard Finance and Procurement functions
• Experience using process mining and optimization tools (E.g., Celonis, Signavio)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive level stakeholders.
• Understanding of and experience in using AI tools (E.g., Copilot, GPT), professionally or personally
• Experience with in the aviation industry in the operational areas is a plus
