THE POST
ADNOC Schools is currently seeking an Senior Finance Manager. The current vacancy is based in ADNOC Schools HQ and will support and work with all four of our campuses. ADNOC Schools are Massachusetts State Curriculum schools and provide high-quality learning environments in Abu Dhabi City and the Western Region of Abu Dhabi Emirate. This position will be for an immediate start.

RESPONSIBILITIES1. Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Lead the preparation of the 5‑Year Business Plan
, incorporating strategic initiatives, market assumptions, and long‑term financial projections. - Manage the full cycle of annual budgeting and quarterly forecasts
, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational needs. - Work closely with school principals, operations, and corporate functions to consolidate budgets and drive financial discipline.
- Review the Monthly School Principal MIS reports
, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to drive effective decision‑making. - Present financial results, performance indicators, and strategic analysis to School Committees, C‑suite leadership, and ADNOC School stakeholders
. - Review and validate monthly balance sheet schedules
, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Oversee accurate and timely month‑end closing activities
, ensuring completeness of all financial entries. - Review all financial transactions across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation, and General Ledger
. - Ensure robust controls and data integrity within the ERP system, including implementation of strict budget controls
.
- Lead and manage the annual external audit
, ensuring financial statements are prepared, reviewed, and finalized within 90 days of year‑end. - Ensure timely submission of audited financial statements to ADEK and other regulatory bodies.
- Timely submission of School fee increase application with ADEK
- Support internal audit and ICFR assessments
, ensuring zero audit gaps through effective documentation and process adherence. - Ensure accurate and timely VAT filings in collaboration with the Group finance team.
- Identify and drive cost‑saving initiatives to improve financial margins and operational efficiency.
- Strengthen internal controls, enhance workflows, and promote standardization across schools and corporate functions.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks
, auditors, school leadership, and key internal stakeholders. - Act as a trusted financial advisor to the business, providing clarity and support on financial matters.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team; set departmental KPIs
, conduct periodic performance reviews, and support career growth. - Ensure continuity of operations through effective succession planning and resource backup strategies.
- CA/CPA/MBA with equivalent degree or any professional degree in Accounts & Finance
- More than 10‑13 experience in Accounts & Finance especially in Managerial Role
