Manager, Conventional Card Ops

Ensure quality, accuracy and integrity on reconciliation and exception management activities.

Review the GL account reconciliations under the financial operations unit ownership to ensure timely action on outstanding items and ensure same are cleared within the agreed timelines.

Effectively and efficiently use technology to bring in improvements and controls for reconciliation processes.

Report and escape ageing outstanding items as per defined timelines.

Identify process improvement areas for development of underlying processes, reporting mechanism and systems to facilitate ongoing improvement in the operational processes

Preparation of monthly AOV on the substantiation of account balances to GFCD.

Ensure agreed SLA’s / TAT are achieved and maintained, with a constant focus to improvise and provide best in class service delivery for clients.

Amortisation of prepaid cost to expense for the month.

Preparation of financial vouchers for issuing & acquiring related requests.

Maintain robust controls and procedures to safeguard financial and data integrity.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of reconciliation principles (especially linked to payment industry)

Overall understanding of the payment landscape across all participants.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint etc.,

Well-developed interpersonal, problem-solving, and time-management skills

Ability to cope with and thrive in a non-routine environment and think creatively.

Positive attitude when handling complex situations / problem.

Ability to deliver results under pressure by collaborating with teams.

Exceptional communicational skills, both verbal and written with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Minimum Experience :

Minimum of 3+ years of working experience in a financial operations management, preferably within the payment industry
