Payments Officer

Our Retail Operations Department would like to welcome a dynamic/detailed-oriented/engaged/motivated Payments Officer in our office in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities- Processing all deposits transactions through various systems (Banks, E-Banking, E-Wallets, Cards, other PSPs)
- Processing all withdrawals transactions through various systems (Banks, E-Banking, E-Wallets, Cards, other PSPs)
- Processing other transactions including (adjustments, indemnifications, and credits).
- Assisting and responding to client’s payment related queries over the phone and through emails (Zendesk)
- Liaising with the Sales team to provide clients with the best payment solution available.
- Able to provide adequate information about the available Payment Providers and solutions.
- Provide the clients guidance on how to use client’s portal to deposit, withdraw or do an internal transfer between account.
- Compliance, Risk, and fraud checks - Carrying out various identification checks to comply with anti-money-laundering regulations.
- Liaising with banks and PSPs to investigate missing payments or anomalies.
- Handling confidential information in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
- Report Technical errors and follow up on them.
- High degree of self-motivation and ambition.
- Proven ability to work independently and competently handle multiple responsibilities, with high degree of accuracy, in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrate team player with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to details.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients, officers, and peers in a professional manner.
- 2+ years of professional experience, preferably in financial services.
- Excellent level of written and spoken English.
- Highly proficient user of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
