Position: Event Coordinator (CV Pool)

The Event Coordinator supports the planning, administration, and delivery of events hosted at Zayed Sports City. This role ensures smooth communication between clients, internal departments, and operational teams while maintaining accurate documentation and structured event processes.

This is for 6‑month contract with the possibility of extension. If you are seeking a full‑time role, this opportunity may not be the right fit.

Areas of Responsibility:
Event Administration & Coordination
  • Manage incoming event enquiries and maintain tracking logs
  • Arrange client meetings and venue site visits
  • Support with the preparation, updating, and management of event proposals and presentations
  • Ensure that the event calendar is fully up-to-date
  • Gather and maintain event data, requirements, and operational details
  • Act as a support contact for both new and existing clients
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all events
Planning & Process Management
  • Assist in creating SOPs and operational workflows
  • Support development of the full event lifecycle
  • Ensure smooth internal communication across departments regarding event details
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain operational readiness
  • Work closely with F&B team for event requirements and provide support where required
  • Coordinate operational details with venue departments
  • Support internal ZSC events from planning through execution
Event Delivery (On-Site)
  • Provide operational support during live events
  • Assist with event setup and client management on the day
  • Help resolve operational issues and ensure service delivery standards are met
  • Support post-event reporting and closeout documentation
Qualification and Requirement:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Certification in Event Management is a plus.
  • 3 years’ experience in events, hospitality, venue operations, or coordination roles
  • Experience working within venues, hotels, or large facilities preferred
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and client-handling ability
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
