Job Brief: We are looking for an experienced Event Lighting Manager with strong expertise in lighting design and event production. The role requires in-depth knowledge of professional lighting equipment, hands-on experience with large-scale and high-profile events, and the ability to lead and build a dedicated lighting team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience within an event management company, a strong understanding of client expectations for VVIP events, and relevant UAE market exposure.

• Lead and manage all lighting-related aspects of events, from concept development to on-site execution and dismantling.
• Design lighting plans and layouts in line with event themes, technical requirements, and client expectations.
• Select, operate, and manage professional lighting equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
• Oversee lighting setup, testing, programming, and live operation during events.
• Manage and supervise the lighting team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Coordinate with event planners, production teams, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless event execution.
• Handle high-profile, large-scale events, including VVIP functions and royal weddings, ensuring discretion and precision.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, venue guidelines, and operational standards.
• Manage timelines and work effectively under pressure to meet tight event schedules.

• Proven experience as a lighting specialist within the events or event management industry.
• Strong expertise in lighting design and a thorough understanding of professional lighting equipment and systems.
• Prior experience working with an event management company is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience handling large-scale VVIP events and royal weddings.
• Arabic-speaking is mandatory.
• Proven ability to hire, build, and manage a lighting team.
• UAE event experience is mandatory (current or previous UAE experience will be considered).
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
