Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview

Senior Electrical Engineer (Construction) to lead the discipline in executing projects and supporting bids in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Focus on 132kV High Voltage Substation projects within the Oil and Gas sector, with responsibilities for 132kV & 33kV GIS switch gear, power transformers, SCMS, PMS, 132kV and 33kV cable pulling, and knowledge of synchronization systems and philosophy, in consultation with the Lead Engineer to ensure safety, quality, and project timelines.

• Lead electrical construction activities including 132kV & 33kV GIS switch gear, power transformers, SCMS, PMS, and cable pulling.
• Coordinate with the Lead Engineer to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.
• Closely monitor the execution of daily electrical construction activities, ensuring alignment with project specifications, quality standards, and schedule.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with the project as required.
• Ensure all construction activities are in accordance with ADNOC HSE policy.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across construction activities and compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering; 15+ years Oil & Gas experience with a minimum of 8 years in a Lead role.
• Strong verbal and written communication, leadership and coordination, analytical and proactive approach in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries.
• Knowledge of industry software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other CAD tools.
