Job Purpose
- The job holder will be responsible in conducting major RBI workshops as per company requirements across all plants.
- The candidate is expected to ensure that RBI analysis is performed in accordance with API 581 and that inspection recommendations are generated together with an inspection plan.
API RBI Methodology Implementation - The candidate will be responsible for conducting the API Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodology and ensuring its effective implementation within ADNOC GAS.
A key responsibility involves gathering the API RBI template to facilitate the mass uploading of equipment, piping, and Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) data. The candidate will analyze the uploaded data within the API RBI User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Any errors identified during this process must be rectified before proceeding to upload the data into the production environment.
SystemIntegration and Validation
The candidate must ensure that the API RBI functional locations are aligned with the SAP functional locations. Once validated, the API RBI data should be uploaded into the production environment.
RBI Workshops and AnalysisThe role requires conducting major RBI workshops as per company requirements across all plants. The candidate is expected to ensure that RBI analysis is performed in accordance with API 581 and that inspection recommendations are generated together with an inspection plan.
Risk Review and AdvisoryAnother key function is to review RBI risk levels across the company and advise various sites on strategies to reduce risk to As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) through appropriate inspection scopes.
Guidelines and Manual DevelopmentThe role includes developing RBI guidelines and a specification manual, updating them as necessary to reflect the latest addenda of API 581.
Inspection Management SupportThe candidate is expected to conduct and assist with inspection management activities, supporting the execution of both long-term and yearly operating plans. This work is essential to provide the required contribution towards achieving the Division’s and company’s objectives.
Policy and Standards DevelopmentThe candidate will also be tasked with developing and reviewing inspection management-related policies, standards, and procedures in accordance with ADNOC guidelines and industry best practices. This is to help build a center of technical excellence within the company and ensure the highest quality of technical solutions and services are provided.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical /chemical or Materials Engineering or equivalent Qualification.
- Certification: API 580
- Experience with risk-based inspection assessment and integrity programs
- Knowledge of inspection and testing methods with a sound knowledge of Oil & Gas processes, engineering standards, and management principles
- Strong working knowledge of risk assessment principles and their application to inspection programmes
- Familiarity of international codes and standards API, ASME, NACE etc
- Planning and Organizing, Scheduling and Co-ordinating, Checking, Examining and Recording
- Hands on experience in Asset Performance Management tool , Risk Based Inspection module. Implement approved policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures at the Section, Team, and Department levels to effectively execute work programs in compliance with both Company and International standards.
