About the RoleThe Senior Technician is a key member of our Gate 0 & 1 operations team within the Aviation & Aero Engine MRO division. This role involves executing engine disassembly, assembly, and inspection tasks with precision and adherence to approved technical data. You will ensure the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance while fostering an ethical and open team culture focused on aviation safety.
YourResponsibilities
- Perform engine disassembly, assembly, and inspection tasks to support Gate 0 & 1 processes, ensuring compliance with aviation and HS&E regulations.
- Promote ethical behavior, fairness, and integrity within the team by acting as a trusted member and encouraging open communication.
- Continuously develop your technical skills and mentor junior technicians to enhance their capabilities.
- Assist in resource allocation and ensure the availability of necessary tools and equipment for engine management.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory guidelines, promptly addressing any discrepancies to maintain adherence to aviation authorities and industry standards.
We are seeking a Senior Technician with at least 3 years of experience in the technical aviation or MRO industry, holding an associate, vocational, or technical degree in aviation, aeronautical engineering, MRO, or a related field. You must possess D2 level authorization or equivalent certification in relevant processes.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in Aero Engine Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul processes, excellent IT skills for data analysis and process optimization, and a commitment to quality and safety management.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with adaptability, innovation, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset. You should be able to manage time efficiently, solve complex technical problems analytically, and uphold professional integrity and accountability in all aspects of your work.
