, is seeking a passionate and dynamic HSE Officer to join the HSE team of Mazrui Energy. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

Sigma Specialized Inspection (SSI) part of Mazrui International (Diversified Holding Group with businesses across multiple sectors), has been setting high standard inspection solutions in providing Quality Control, Non-Destructive Testing / Heat Treatment Services to the Offshore / Onshore Oilfield Industries and to Petrochemical, Power Generation, and Shipbuilding Industries throughout the Middle East region.

• Provide expert guidance and information on environmental, health, and safety matters (EHS) to all work forces.
• Coordinate environmental, occupational health, and safety (OH&S) initiatives across departments (operations) to ensure compliance and effective implementation.
• Ensure HSE procedures are adequately implemented, monitored, and continuously improved.
• Represent the organization in Improvement Groups, contributing to safety enhancement strategies and initiatives.
• Ensure internal communications, including environmental and OH&S newsletters reached to everyone in organization and interested parties to promote awareness and engagement.
• Participate in HSE internal audits in accordance with the approved audit program
• Enhance worker competence and awareness at all organizational levels by developing training programs, awareness campaigns, and best‑practice sharing sessions.
• Monitor industrial radiation safety practices and provide guidance in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
• Ensure drivers adhered to pre‑driving safety checks and promote safe driving practices.
• Weekly report to line manager on time and advice for any area improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree /Diploma or occupational health & safety / Related Field
• Must have valid NEBOSH IGC certificate

• 5 + years experience in HSE for the oil and gas industry and understanding of local and international HSE regulations (like ADPHC-Legislations-Code of practice - Abu Dhabi UAE)

• Ability to work as HSE officer in client locations like steel making plants, power plants, gas plants and refineries on call out basis.
• JSA& JMS, Hazard Identification and Risk assessment preparation
• HSE inspections on tools and safety equipment’s
• Permit to Work (PTW) System control for high-risk activities.
• Emergency Response & Preparedness (fire, gas leaks and radiation).
• Conduct Toolbox Talks on various topics & Safety Inductions
• ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 compliance verification and monitoring as per established procedures.
• Environmental Monitoring for waste disposal and sustainability.
• HSE observation reporting and immediate response to near miss.
• Encourage workforce to participate in behavior-based safety observation program.
• Subcontractor Safety Management
