Material Planner; UAEN

The Material Planner will coordinate with Maintenance Planners and relevant sections to ensure required spares and support items are processed through the logistics system efficiently.

The role involves analyzing and validating demands to maintain inventory levels aligned with flying hour programs, maintenance schedules, special projects, environmental conditions, delivery timelines, and MTBF/overhaul intervals.

You will manage PLL/ASL stock levels, prevent shortages or overstocking, track spares consumption, reconcile with maintenance teams on urgent requirements, and coordinate with vendors to expedite deliveries when required.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (Aviation Technology preferred) may substitute for experience

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and/or maintenance operations
• Experience as a Material Planner or in Technical Follow-Up/Repair within aviation is preferred
• Aviation maintenance and technical supply operations experience is a plus
• Quality Control experience is an advantage

• Generate reports (Provisional Review, Reorder Points, NIL Stock) to support procurement and forecasting
• Create part numbers and manage interchangeable parts within approved IT systems
• Ensure materials availability to support Fully Mission Capable (FMC) aircraft
• Review technical documents (IPC, CMM, AMM, TB, SB) for part validation
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance and TBO part requirements
• Manage POL product planning to reduce waste
• Ensure ITAR compliance for import/export activities
• Manage supplier communications, RFQs, expediting, and discrepancy follow-ups
• Support inter-departmental material transfers and deferred part validation
