Job Description- Senior Pipeline QS with expertise in pipeline activities, collaborating closely with Field Engineering, Procurement, Cost Control, Construction, and Contracts teams to manage quantity and cost control workflows.
- Skilled in identifying project risks based on contract documents, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring minimal cost and schedule impacts.
- Proficient in submitting fortnightly risk reports and mitigation plans aligned with EPC/Contractor performance.
- Experienced in developing strategic plans and advising management on cost-controlled solutions for claims raised by contractors, while cross-checking MTOs with AFC drawings to update procurement needs.
- Strong knowledge of project design methods, construction monitoring, and lifecycle planning from quantity and material scheduling to coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (piping, mechanical, civil, E&I).
- Hands‑on experience with tie‑ins, pre‑shutdown, and shutdown activities, including material requisition packages.
- Adept in field change approvals (FCN, DCN), site variations, test pack verifications, and as‑built requirements.
- Well‑versed in Installation Work Packages (IWP) and Workface Planning (WFP) to implement Advanced Work Package (AWP) methodology, ensuring milestone‑based execution.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for controlling the Materials.
- Ability to reconcile the materials released to subcontractor.
- Proficiency on AutoCAD for reading Alignment Sheets drawings and basic knowledge of related pipeline design.
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5‑10 years' experience
- Experience working in Oil & Gas Projects
- Advantage if with experience working in EPC company in ADNOC Projects.
