Senior Quantity Surveyor - MEP

Job Description

Overview

This role covers pre-contract duties including cost planning, estimating, value engineering, cash flow forecasting, risk management, tender services, and contract interpretation (FIDIC preferred).

• Cost Planning and estimating.
• Value Engineering, cash flow forecasts, risk management.
• Bills of Quantities production (POMI, NRM2 and CESSM4).
• Tender services including compilation, tender analysis, negotiation and recommendation.
• Contract interpretation and application, FIDIC preferred.

• MRICS or APC candidate who anticipates to complete chartership within a specified time period.
• Experience in one of the following key sectors: hospitality, residential, buildings, retail, commercial, infrastructure etc.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, or similar, from a recognised university.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of UAE/ international experience preferred.
• Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 3 years.
• Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
