- Assure the quality and integrity of each project, bringing projects in on schedule and within budget using in-house construction management procedures and ensuring consistent quality assurance and control
- Oversee total construction field effort to ensure compliance with design, specifications, budgets and schedules
- Typically responsible for projects or sub-projects with value above USD 500 million
- Responsible for construction and contractor related deliverables
- Supervises all areas on small projects and/or a subset or discipline on larger projects
- Manage and execute multiple field disciplines or a subset of assigned construction project(s) in accordance with contract requirements and company policies
- Execute work in accordance with project quality standards
- Manage project cost and schedule of assigned disciplines / on-site construction
- Manage installation, commissioning and completion activities of materials and equipment
- Coordinate field personnel work schedules to maximize utilization and ensure on-schedule delivery
- Monitor work progress and report against the plan
- Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities are defined and communicated to workers
- Ensure workers receive training for safe, legal and competent work, including inductions
- Initiate safety, quality and environmental processes within control areas, including toolbox meetings, inspections, and risk management
- Coordinate supply and delivery of equipment, subcontractors, consumables, accommodation and other project requirements in accordance with client/contract specifications and Wood policies
- Understand and manage the industrial relations environment on site
- Work with engineering in design phases to influence constructability
- Degree with a minimum of 15 years Oil and Gas industry experience, including at least 5 years on major capital projects (> USD 500M) with Construction Management and Site Management focus
- Experience with in an Oil and Gas operating company is highly desired and may be considered in lieu of capital project experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Willingness to travel extensively for multi-week periods and flexibility to adjust work location as project needs
- Qualified to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa
