Field Service Engineer - PQ

What You’ll Do

• Provide first class service for the Eaton installed base products and ensure maximum customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Perform UPS commissioning, service/repairs and periodic maintenance for Eaton Installed Base.
• Work on Eaton UPSs ranging from small 1‑phase to large data center UPSs up to 1700kVA.
• Follow up customer agreements and satisfaction through planning, execution, documentation and invoicing of service tasks.
• Ensure update of customer information, technical documentation and correct invoicing.
• Support customers with technical questions (phone and/or mail).
• Support colleagues in Service department and sales with technical knowledge.
• Participate in required training (technical, mandatory by Eaton or by law).
• Responsibility over service request realization (timing, effectiveness) and service sales budget realization.
• Responsible for Service engineers team and performing commissioning, service, repair and preventive maintenance on Eaton’s Installed Base/products.
• Proactively be involved in scheduling and planning of works for the FSEs.
• Actively support and work to be in line with goals and performance KPIs.
• Secure timely reporting and ensure technical reports are done in connection to each individual work.
• Attend all mandatory trainings provided in accordance with Eaton policy.
• Work and act in line with Eaton guidelines, processes and code of ethics.
• Cooperate with Project Managers in projects supporting planning and commissioning scheduling.
• Offer support for high‑profile clients, providing technical advice and attending site visits as required.
• Maintain direct links with business units (HPO) in technical issues.
• Actively support Eaton’s Environment, Health & Safety culture.

Qualifications

• Associate Engineer in Electrical.
• 10+ years of experience.

Skills

• UPS 1-phase/3-phase systems, Battery backup, emergency supply.
• Communication skills / Customer Focus / Flexibility / Ability to work with different cultures / Able to follow instructions.
