This is a full-time, on-site role for a Health Safety Environment (HSE) Officer based in Abu Dhabi. The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental policies, monitoring workplace safety, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and conducting risk assessments. Day-to-day tasks include performing safety audits, providing EHS training, and ensuring adherence to industry standards such as NEBOSH & ADOSH regulations.
The individual will also be responsible for investigating incidents and developing strategies to prevent workplace hazards.
- Minimum 7–8 years overall HSE experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in Underground Cabling / Substation (SS) / OHL / Transmission projects
- BE /
B. Tech or 3-Year Diploma (Engineering) - Valid UAE Driving License
- DEWA / TAQA approval – (Added Advantage)
- Familiarity with industry codes and safety standards within the power transmission and distribution sector
- Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health practices
- Ability to ensure and maintain adherence to Workplace Safety standards and protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct risk assessments and audits
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for delivering training sessions and collaborating with teams
