The Field Service Technician installs, commissions, monitors, troubleshoots, and repairs Flowserve’s valve, and other equipment across industries. In this challenging position the Field Service Technician (FST) provides real-time technical support to our customers, and provides recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and replacement equipment. The FST is actively engaged in troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions onsite at nearby customer facilities. Our Field Service Technician team is the face of Flowserve, and we count on them to deliver a world-class service to our customers, creating a lasting competitive advantage for our products and services.

• Thorough technical knowledge on assembling, testing, and calibration of control valves with pneumatic actuators, hydraulic and electric actuators.
• Dis‑mantling, inspection and service assessment based on the valve and actuator condition and submitting technical service/repair reports.
• Basic knowledge of re‑machining valve trim components, understanding engineering drawings, and working with third‑party workshops to complete valve and actuator service activities.
• Thorough knowledge of valve calibration involving digital positioners, electric actuators, hydraulic actuators, various valve accessories (volume boosters, lock‑up relays, SOVs etc.), troubleshooting of valves at site, shop, during commissioning activities at sites, turnarounds, plant start‑ups, etc. is highly recommended.
• Pressure testing of various types of valves (shell, seat), knowledge of various hydro test machine operation, basic knowledge of international standards pertaining to pressure testing, valve calibration, etc. is desirable.
• Preparing technical service reports after valves/actuators servicing, troubleshooting, and providing reliable technical recommendations to customers.
• Interact with factory engineering teams in resolving and providing reliable technical solutions to customers.
• Conduct plant walks, site surveys for collecting installed base data, and prepare site survey reports with recommendations for up‑grading the existing products, replacing third‑party products (valves, actuators, positioners, etc.) with technical justification.

• Professional certifications in this field.
• Ability to work collaboratively with unfamiliar teams.
• HS Diploma / GED and 3‑5 years relevant experience.
