BIM Coordinator

Tasks

• Coordinate and manage 3D models across all project disciplines in line with BEP.
• Enforce BIM standards, file setup, naming conventions, and model structure to ensure consistency and compliance across the project.
• Maintain a central model database, audit and validate content, and track quality and completeness of all BIM information.
• Create federated models in Navisworks, run clash detection, issue coordination reports, and track resolution to closure.
• Manage updates, revisions, and incorporation of change requests, ensuring model health, file stability, and integrity.
• Review and coordinate BIM submissions from subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project requirements and sequencing constraints.
• Support engineering and site teams with model outputs for planning, coordination, and interface resolution.
• Maintain BIM logs, QC/QA records, and action tracking; participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide progress updates.
• Establish and maintain drawing sheets, visibility settings, shared data links, and project-level coordination between models.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM coordination experience in a main contractor or BIM consultancy environment.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM
  360 / ACC Docs, and design collaboration software.
• Knowledge of BIM processes aligned with ISO 19650.
• Experience supporting complex projects with high coordination demands, ideally including multiple subcontractors.
• Synchro 4D or 4D sequencing experience is an advantage.
• UAE experience and immediate availability are preferred.
