Senior RF Engineer

The Senior RF Engineer is responsible for performing research and developing microwave circuits including power amplifiers, LNA, mixers, couplers, etc. in different technologies, MMIC and hybrid. The role involves working with a cross‑functional team developing RF systems to create product prototypes.

• Performing research and development in microwave circuits, particularly in high‑power amplifiers.
• Circuit design and simulation of RF/microwave circuits using software tools such as AWR Microwave Office, Keysight ADS and CST/HFSS
• Perform MMIC DRC and reticle preparation for tape‑out.
• PCB design, assembly and testing of RF sub‑modules.
• RF budgeting, frequency planning, RF chain analysis and signal integrity analysis
• Creating block diagrams and schematics of microwave circuits from project requirements.
• Propose ideas and roadmap for RF sub‑modules and system.
• Assisting prototype transition towards manufacturing
• Publishing papers in journals or conferences related to the domain of expertise

• PhD or Master degree in RF/microwave Electronics, or related discipline
• At least 2 years of working experience in an R&D department (or similar environment) directly related to the topic, or 5 years for a Master degree.
• Experience in designing RF circuits in S, L, C, X, Ku and Ka bands.
• Experience with III‑IV MMIC Design and tape‑out.
• Experience with bias and sequencing circuits for solid‑state based devices.
• Experience in PCB design, circuit mounting, wire‑bonding, and/or packaging.
• Strong understanding in fundamentals of RF circuits, assembling, and testing including, LNA, Power amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, RF Couplers, switches.
• Experience in laboratory measurements using instruments such as VNA, spectrum Analyzer, Arbitrary Waveform Generator and probe station measurements.
• Electronic troubleshooting from component to assembly levels
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Experience in programming tools such as LabVIEW, Python or Matlab are a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience documenting technical designs and test results.
