We are looking for a skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities in the water treatment industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical systems, team supervision, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure electrical work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
- Prepare and review electrical technical submittals, including Single Line Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams, BOQs, and Load Schedules.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers for material procurement and technical discussions.
- Prepare and maintain electrical test reports, including FAT, SAT, Megger Testing, Continuity Testing, and Functional Testing.
- Assist in designing electrical layouts, including lighting, small power distribution, and cable route planning.
- Lead and guide electricians, ensuring efficient execution of electrical projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with different departments, including engineering, procurement, and project execution teams.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with relevant hands-on experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical supervision for candidates with a formal degree, while applicants without a degree should demonstrate substantial practical experience of at least 7 years within the water treatment industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning procedures.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD for electrical drawings and layouts is an advantage.
- Proven ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Good understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities across site teams and stakeholders.
