Project HSE Management System Implementation

• Lead and oversee the implementation of the Project HSE Management System in alignment with corporate, client, and UAE regulatory requirements (OSHAD-SF, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Define HSE objectives and KPIs to ensure continuous improvement and accountability across all levels.
• Promote a proactive safety culture focused on prevention, engagement, and operational excellence.

• Identify, evaluate, and control potential hazards through structured risk assessments and safe work practices.
• Ensure full compliance with legal, environmental, and contractual HSE obligations.
• Conduct site audits and inspections, ensuring timely close-out of non-conformities.
• Review and approve project HSE documents, including MS, RA, JSA, and PTW systems.
• Supervise and mentor HSE Officers and site teams to ensure high performance and compliance.
• Conduct capability assessments and facilitate training to enhance HSE competency.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and professional growth across the HSE function.

• Design and deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and targeted awareness programs.
• Promote behavioral safety initiatives to strengthen engagement and hazard reporting.
• Reinforce continuous learning and positive safety behaviors across all teams.
• Lead investigations of incidents, near‑misses, and unsafe conditions using structured root cause analysis methods.
• Ensure accurate documentation, timely implementation of corrective actions, and effective communication of lessons learned.
• Prepare and present incident and performance reports to management, clients, and regulatory authorities.

• Maintain a strong on‑site presence to monitor and enforce HSE compliance.
• Implement control measures for high‑risk activities and review their effectiveness.
• Update HSE procedures to reflect operational changes and lessons learned.

• Develop and test emergency response and evacuation plans.
• Conduct regular drills and coordinate with local authorities for readiness.
• Ensure staff awareness and preparedness for emergency situations.

• Lead waste reduction, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws, permits, and reporting standards.
• Promote eco‑friendly and resource‑efficient practices across the project.

• Serve as the project’s key HSE representative in meetings, audits, and inspections.
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and authorities to maintain compliance and trust.
• Provide expert HSE advice to senior management and project leaders.
• Analyze HSE performance data to identify trends and drive improvement.
• Integrate digital tools and innovative practices to enhance reporting and compliance.
• Benchmark best practices to strengthen HSE systems and overall performance.

• In addition to all job‑specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Basatin HSE policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Khidmah HSE department regularly updates existing and introduces new policies, procedures, and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions.

• Comply with Basatin Information Security Policies.
• Be aware of and fulfill their information security responsibilities.
• Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information has taken the Security Awareness Training.
• Know how to report a security incident (to IT Service Desk or Info Sec).
• Do not disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus.
• Restrict use to authorized purposes, protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.
