Your day involves troubleshooting and resolving complex issues on turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems using advanced skills and critical thinking. It also includes independently managing high‑impact challenges and ensuring successful outcomes for intricate, cross‑functional problems.
How You Will Make an Impact- Ensure effective collaboration with the Project Leader, Design departments, and customer representatives, while adhering to QA standards, project documentation, and health and safety requirements during all project activities.
- Conduct commissioning and troubleshooting tasks on gas turbines, steam turbines, or generators at power plants worldwide, following Siemens Standards.
- Execute work cost‑effectively within the allocated budget and timeline through efficient planning and optimal resource utilization to maximize productivity.
- Assist sales and planning teams by contributing to the preparation of tenders, quotations, schedules, and requirement lists.
- Attend customer meetings and provide technical expertise to support sales initiatives.
- Identify potential delays, implement measures to minimize their impact, and contribute to effective claim management.
- Over 2 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in mechanical engineering, with the potential to lead a small team.
- Experience in power plant maintenance is considered a plus.
- Open to working abroad and adapting to international environments.
- Willingness to work in shifts as required.
- Frequent travel is a key aspect of the role.
- Strong team player with a proactive and self‑motivated attitude.
