Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Senior/Specialist Mechanical Engineer (Construction)-Site based for one of our key clients in Abu Dhabi as part of our ADNOC Gas PMC team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be full time site based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager with a proven track record in overseeing and coordinates construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards for a high-profile client.

- Develop and implement detailed mechanical construction plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies for efficient site execution.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and client requirements for all mechanical systems and installations.
- Monitor and control project costs and schedules for mechanical works, preventing overspending and ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on mechanical installations, equipment, and systems to meet project standards.
- Identify potential risks in mechanical construction activities, implement mitigation measures, and enforce strict safety protocols.
- Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients to align mechanical works with overall project objectives.
- Integrate eco-friendly practices in mechanical construction and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
