Senior Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and civil work, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in construction planning,
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 software
• Experience in construction and civil work projects, preferably in the UAE
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership skills and ability to mentor and train junior engineers
• Fluent in English, Arabic language skills would be an advantage

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 software
• Monitor project progress and identify any potential delays or issues
• Work closely with project managers to develop mitigation plans and ensure timely completion of projects
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify any potential risks
• Prepare progress reports for management and clients
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Oversee the work of junior planning engineers and provide guidance and support as needed
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project progress
• Continuously review and improve planning processes and procedures to enhance project delivery
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
• Provide input on project budget and cost estimates
• Mentor and train junior engineers on planning best practices and software tools
